30th Anniversary Open House a Success

McKinnis Roofing held an open house on Friday April 29, 2011 to celebrate 30 years in business. We would like to thank those of you who contributed or came out to help us celebrate. There were over 400 people that came for food, drinks, and prizes, making the open house a great success. Thirty years in business is a great milestone and we’re glad to share it with so many employees, customers, and friends. Here are some of the highlights of the night:

-Employee Dustin Woodard and his father, Mike, provided live entertainment by singing many great classics to keep the party hopping. Some members of the crowd even joined in at one point.

-The Amazing Arthur Fratelli kept the kids and even many adults entertained by putting his amazing balloon animal skills to use. One girl was even seen wearing a balloon animal hat that was bigger than she was.

-Main Street Bar & Grill did an excellent job catering tasty pulled pork sandwiches and side dishes to over 400 people. There were even a few left-overs, which didn’t last long around the shop.

-Those that showed up early were treated to live product demonstrations by McKinnis Roofing employees. Some of the demonstrations were an example of how a LiveRoof is installed; Metal Fabrication from the sheet metal shop; The panel machine in action running out standing seam metal panels; and a tutorial of the spray foam insulation and coating machine.

-McKinnis Roofing Owner Dave McKinnis and grandson, Boston, drew names out of a fish bowl for many great prizes. The winners are listed below:

ipad 2 – Brandon Mason; ipad 2 – Howdy McManigal; $350 Golf Galaxy Gift Card – Brenda Heuton; $500 Gas Card – Karen Campbell; $500 Gas Card – Don Jacobs; Traeger Grill – Linda Greve; $100 Cash – Marty Rump; Shop Vacuum provided by Total Tool - Bob Neverman; Dewalt Cordless Drill provided by Total Tool - Steve Ryan; Free Cruise – Dewey Person; Free Cruise – Kevin Loftus.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks again to everyone! See you at our next open house.

Please feel free to leave your comments about your experience at the open house.
