Guy was exceptionally professional, helpful and informative in working with me on my roof job. I knew very little about such a project. I had a flat roof with multiple layers and some damage from leaking over the years. Guy was able to educate me and guide me to the best solution for my application. I am truly grateful for that. It was a serious worry for me since the roof was beginning to leak in bad storms causing internal damage. I had other quotes and others trying to sell me a roof, but Guy won out handily.

As it turns out, there is some corrections that need to be made so that the rain water flows more readily to the scuppers, but Guy is working with me on that and I am confident that it will work out so that my new roof will provide many years of excellent, trouble free service.

Dear Mr. McKinnis,

I wanted to take a minute to write you a note about two of your staff in Norfolk, Mr. Jay Wolff and Mr. Jesse Vogel. I got estimates from a number of different companies before deciding which company to work with. Because of their courteous and friendly visit and information about what I need to repair my home, I chose McKinnis Roofing. I have been working with them to get a new roof on my home. The roof is now on and it looks great.

There had been some ongoing issues with my insurance company and getting the payment straigthened out. Jay and Jesse have worked with my insurance company to get them absolutely everything they needed to get the claim paid. They made calls to them to answer questions, get them needed information, and even a trip up into my attic to take pictures that could be sent to them to show the work needed and completed.

I am truly grateful for their efforts to get this all worked out so that I could get the full benefits of my insurance. Every penny counts for me and I appreciate their efforts a great deal.

Dear Dave McKinnis,

I wanted to write you and let you know that your employee has been an exceptional surprise to us. He was sent to our house to discuss the storm damage that we received during the storm that hit our area. We had severe winds and hail damage to our house. The resulting meeting with adjusters and the headaches that followed were just absolutely unbelievable. It took three roofing companies and many hours to come to a conclusion here. This is where your employee came in and took over the process and gave us outstanding service and advice in dealing with the insurance company.

His professionalism and years of knowledge brought great insight into the process. His dealing with the insurance company on our behalf was such a breath of fresh air for us. His knowledge and past dealing with insurance companies was absolutely the key here in getting resolution to the problem. As I stated above we had three different roofing companies involved and he took this problem on and guided us along the way. Again, without him I am convinced we would have had repairs made that would have been woefully under the real issue we had.

The determination and help your employee provided to us is why I am writing this letter. I truly believe you have a great employee who is truly concerned and working for his customers. The attention and time devoted to us was first class. I feel he is an outstanding addition to your team. You should be proud to have an individual with his talent’s that goes the extra mile for his customers. We cannot thank him enough for all that he has done for us.
